When Mattel Adventure Park opens in 2024, it will be Arizona’s first fully-themed indoor/outdoor amusement park, with a life-sized Barbie Beach House and first-of-its-kind Hot Wheels Bone Shaker roller coaster.
Located in Glendale, Ariz., the nine-acre family-friendly park will showcase the iconic toy brand 365 days a year, including two Hot Wheels-themed rides: The double-looping Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer, the first coaster in Arizona to feature a double loop and two corkscrews and Hot Wheels Bone Shaker: The Ultimate Ride, the first family coaster to feature the famous hot rod’s skull design.

We’re especially excited for families to experience the Hot Wheels Bone Shaker rollercoaster – a dream come true for any Hot Wheels fan.”

Mattel Adventure Park Rides and Experiences
In addition to Hot Wheels-themed attractions, the park will include the following:
- Thomas & Friends: World of Sodor – Seven family-friendly experiential attractions and rides, including a dedicated indoor kids’ play space
- Barbie Beach House – A full-scale immersive experience where Barbie fans can look inside Barbie’s iconic closet in the Barbie Dream Closet Experience, which uses hologram technology to bring Barbie to life, plus a rooftop bar and restaurant with expansive views
- Masters of the Universe Laser Tag – A 4,500 square-foot laser tag arena in the likeness of the iconic Castle Grayskull fortress
- Mini Golf – Nine holes inspired by Magic 8 Ball, Pictionary, and other Mattel games
- UNO climbing structure
Mattel Adventure Park will take advantage of a unique indoor/outdoor design to provide a year-round air-conditioned space and ensure a “cool guest experience” in the Arizona heat.
